first update from asia

Hey everyone, thought it was about time for a blog update. I really haven't had a chance to write anything the past few weeks... Been a bit busy. I'm on a train from Taipei to Hua lian in Taiwan. I'm totally ready to get out of cities for a while... especially after a few days in Hong Kong. It's all worth it for the sheer amount of food available but otherwise this megacity life is a bit exhausting. I have a lot I could write about but I find that unlike when I was travelling through Mexico I find myself lacking motivation to journal. I think the difference is mostly having the same-language company I have right now and which I didn't have last year. If that's the case, you can all expect some more stories when I'm all on my lonesome in two weeks.
